Floral Design Courses Begin in April

Learn the basics of floral arranging by taking a hands-on floral design course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College.

“Floristry: Floral Design – Part I” is designed to help anyone interested in employment in the floral design industry gain an understanding of terminology, materials and creative techniques. The class will meet on Tuesdays, April 17 through May 15, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Parkside High School in Salisbury.

“Floral Design: Weddings” is designed to help students learn how to create arrangements, from simple to sophisticated, for seasonal, traditional and contemporary weddings. The class will meet on Wednesdays, April 18 through May 9, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin.
