Supervision and Leadership Courses to be Held in September

Courses designed for current and up-and-coming supervisors and leaders are being offered this fall by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Discover what it takes to create a productive team environment and develop a strong foundation for group interaction by taking “Team Chemistry: Building Shared Commitment Within Your Organization.” The class will meet on Monday and Wednesday, Sept. 17 and 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.

“First Line Supervision: Skills for Leadership Success” is a new course designed to help front line supervisors learn the skills needed to move teams forward to achieve organizational directives and satisfy customers. The class will meet on Tuesdays, Sept. 18 through Oct. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Learn strategies to become a leader who concentrates on vision, mission, strategy, and goals and objectives, and obtains sustainable results from a work team by taking “Results Driven Leadership for Team Success.” The class will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
