New Core Functions of Addiction Counseling Course to be Held Oct. 19

Counselors and others who work with people with addictions can learn about treatment, crisis intervention and therapeutic strategies for chemically-dependent clients by taking “The 12 Core Functions of Addictions Counselors and Case Managers,” a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College. The class will meet on Friday, Oct. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Holly Center in Salisbury.
