QuickBooks Courses Offered in February

Small business owners, not-for-profit agencies and construction-related contractors can learn how to perform bookkeeping with QuickBooks by taking courses offered by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

QuickBooks courses being offered online include “Introduction to QuickBooks 2005,” “QuickBooks for Contractors” and “Performing Payroll in QuickBooks.” Each online course begins on Wednesday, Feb. 15, and can be completed in six weeks.

“QuickBooks Solutions for Contractors” is designed to help construction-related contractors, including builders, electricians, plumbers and landscapers, learn to perform bookkeeping using QuickBooks Pro software. The class will meet on Wednesdays, Feb. 8 through March 1, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Charity organizations, churches, human services, art leagues, educational centers and other not-for-profit agencies can improve bookkeeping processes by taking “QuickBooks Solution for Nonprofits.” The class will meet on Fridays, Feb. 10 through March 3, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the college campus.
