New Substance Abuse Counseling Course to be Held Nov. 16

Counselors and others who work with people with addictions can learn how to improve intervention skills and develop an intervention plan that includes empathetic/reflective listening and motivational interviewing by taking “Substance Abuse Counseling Methods,” a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College. The class will meet on Friday, Nov. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Holly Center in Salisbury.
