Jail and Correctional Officers Graduate

Twenty-seven jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Somerset, Dorchester and Talbot counties graduated in the 71st entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Captain Ruth Colbourne of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections.

Donald L. Rollyson Jr., an ESCJA instructor, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.

Graduates included Troy D. Blackmon, Keith A. Jarvis, Marie I. Jenkins, Joseph J. Mellinger and Robert L. Mitchell Jr. of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Timothy B. Evans, Yeselle M. Fiddermon, Ray M. Ford, Tonia J. Froehlich, Michael P. Haase, Stacy L. Hall, William E. Hall Jr., Dione D. Handy, Jeffrey B. Hart, Joshua T. Holland, Crystal T. Jones, Charles W. LeGates, Ralph J. Oldham Jr., Sherry L. Sanders, Dante Z. Sison, Cameren L. Taylor, Nyisha L. Turner and Robin G. Waters-Moore of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI), Larry D. Marine of Maryland Correctional Enterprises at ECI, Derek C. Hurt of the Dorchester County Detention Center, and Kyle W. Ellis and Janet L. Miles of the Talbot County Detention Center.
