Summer Program for Children to be Held at Wor-Wic
February 15, 2008

Parents can register their children now through May 12 for the summer program that will be held June 16 through Aug. 22 at the on-campus child development center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

The 10-week summer program, which is designed for children ages six through 12, will be held Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Children enrolled in the program can participate in a variety of activities intended to educate them while they have fun. With a different theme each week, the children will have the opportunity to learn about the Eastern Shore, the wild West, Independence Day, children around the world, sports, flying and cooking. They will also explore what they want to do when they grow up and what it means to have spirit and be wacky. Activities will include junior aerobics, music and drama, science and nature, outdoor play, crafts and weekly field trips.
