Job Fair Prep Workshop to be Held March 25 at Wor-Wic

The public is invited to attend a free job fair preparation and pizza workshop being offered by the career services office at Wor-Wic Community College. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 25, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in Room 105 of Henson Hall at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

The workshop is designed for anyone who needs help preparing a resumé or writing a cover letter. The resumés and cover letters can be used at upcoming area job fairs, including Wor-Wic’s job fair, which is being held on Thursday, April 10, from 2:30 to 6 p.m., in Room 103 of the Workforce Development Center at the college campus.

Free career services offered at Wor-Wic also include individual vocational counseling, access to a resource library and various computerized occupational information, career development workshops, interview preparation, job search skills and one-on-one job placement counseling. These services are available for credit and continuing education students, alumni and for anyone in the community.
