Online Course “How To” Session to be Held May 3

The public is invited to attend “How To Take An Online Class: Is It Right For Me?,” a free information session that is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College on Saturday, May 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., in Room 301 of the Maner Technology Center at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

A hands-on demonstration of how to navigate credit and non-credit online classrooms, including Ed2Go, WebCT and Blackboard, will be conducted. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about what to expect from an online course such as viewing course content, posting discussions, taking quizzes and sending e-mails.
