New Real Estate Courses to be Held May 7

Developers, appraisers, bankers, property managers and real estate agents can learn more about residential listing agreements, and contract and closing procedures, by taking new courses being offered back-to-back on Wednesday, May 7, by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

“Helping Clients Understand the Residential Listing Agreement” will cover locating errors or omissions in the legally-binding residential listing agreement and reviewing the impact of the document on the client and the transaction. The class will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“Contract and Closing Procedures for New Real Estate Agents” will cover agency relationships, addenda associated with contracts, home inspections, acquiring a closing officer or attorney, the settlement sheet and closing procedures. The class will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
