Online Business Administration Courses Offered in March

Online business administration courses, which are being offered this March by the continuing education office at Wor-Wic Community College, focus on employment law, purchasing, construction, manufacturing and the management of technical professionals.

“Employment Law Fundamentals” is designed to help employers learn the basics of employment law in order to legally hire, evaluate and manage employees. This course also covers employee benefits, termination procedures, methods to resolve employment disputes, discrimination, union laws and workplace safety rules.

Learn what the newest generation of technical professionals needs in “Managing Technical Professionals.” This course covers how to attract, train and inspire top-notch professionals.

”Manufacturing Fundamentals” is designed help individuals learn more about production design, process planning, facility location, plant layout and production materials. This course also covers product development concepts such as the voice of the customer (VOC), quality function deployment (QFD) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

Learn key concepts such as supplier partnerships, capital budgeting and green buying, and gain a better understanding of business law, leasing, make-or-buy analysis, outsourcing and supplier visits by taking “Purchasing Fundamentals.”

Each course begins on Wednesday, March 15, and can be completed in six weeks.
