Jail and Correctional Officers Graduate

Fifty-nine jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Caroline, Talbot, Queen Anne’s and Kent counties graduated in the 73rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Timothy Gwaltney, retired captain of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI).

Donald L. Rollyson Jr., ESCJA instructor, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.
