Dessert Theater is March 18 and 19

The public is invited to “Dessert Theater 2006” on Saturday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 19, at 2 p.m. Eight one-act plays about love and marriage will be performed by students and employees in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Sponsored by the arts club and hotel-motel-restaurant management department, the featured plays include “Between the Lines,” written by Jules Tasca, “Fairy Tale Romance,” written by M. Kilburg Reedy, “Forbidden Fruit,” written by Guy de Maupassant and adapted for the stage by Jules Tasca, “Happily Never After,” written by Tim Kelly, “Hello, Ma!,” written by Trude Stone, “Late Date,” written by Jack Neary, “Wanted: One Groom,” written by Clause Rease, and “The Wedding,” written by Jack Neary.

Desserts, catered by Wor-Wic’s hotel-motel-restaurant management students, will be served during intermission.
