New Business and Technical Writing Courses Offered in January

Supervisors, managers or anyone interested in improving their writing skills can learn professional writing techniques by taking new business and technical writing courses being offered in January by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

“Technical Writing” is designed help students learn how to use analytical and organizational writing techniques to develop proposals, handbooks, instructional manuals, assembly procedures and correspondence in the workplace. The class will be held on Wednesdays, Jan. 21 through Feb. 25.

“Business Writing for Supervisors” is designed to help students refine their vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, grammar and sentence structure. The class will meet on Thursdays, Jan. 22 through Feb. 26.

Both courses will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road.
