Wor-Wic Students Inducted into PTK

Fifty-one Wor-Wic Community College students were inducted into the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa during a ceremony held recently at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

The new chapter members include John Caloyianis, Darrell Conquest, Lisa deSimon, Joshua Edwards, John Everett, Stephen Feliciano, Elma Fontaine, Lana Hauser, Nathan Kimmal, Heather Lynch, Tiffani Mejia, Naomi Perry, Penny Scott, Michael Shen, Jamie Smith, Constance Townsend, Victoria Turner, Bryan Twigg Jr., Ashley Tyndall and Lauren Winkler of Salisbury, Priscilla Cycyk, Michelle Davenport, Anastasiya Deem, Holly Fowler, Julie Seager and Adam Walker of Berlin, Morgan Iacona of Bishopville, Seneca Alvarado of Ocean City, Victoria Overholt and Tiffany Sterling of Pocomoke City, Elizabeth Moyer of Snow Hill, Matthew McGee of Delmar, Md., Brandi Taylor of Fruitland, Elizabeth Price of Hebron, Carole Dalfonso, Erika Parks and Brittany Spedden of Parsonsburg, Elyssa Rutzler of Pittsville, Rachel Lewis of Tyaskin, Linda Payne of Willards, Glenn Juskiewicz and Frederick Lawson Jr. of Eden, Megan Corbin, Vickie Nelson and Lindsay Walston of Crisfield, Joscelyne Swift of Marion Station, Renee Levesque and Laura Weeks of Princess Anne, Sarah Bradshaw of Rhodes Point, Sarah Mister of Westover and Nicolette Langrall of Hurlock.

Advisors of the chapter include Coleen M. Weil, assistant professor of nursing, Lynn M. Derickson, assistant professor of nursing, Dr. Denise D. Marshall, department head and professor of nursing, Terry Thompson, assistant professor of biological science, and Jennifer L. Tusing, instructor of Spanish.

Phi Theta Kappa is a nationally-recognized honor society serving America’s two-year colleges. The Alpha Nu Omicron chapter was chartered at Wor-Wic in September of 1987.
