Career Events / Job Fairs
Wor-Wic Community College sponsors a Career/Job Fair during the academic year, usually held in the spring.
This free event gives employers the opportunity to meet with potential applicants about employment and/or
internships. The Job Fair is open to current students, alumni and the general public.
Employers can also schedule recruitment visits on campus throughout the academic year to meet individually
with students and alumni.
Various Career Development workshops are offered by Career Services throughout the academic year. Topics
include: Career Exploration/Job Search, How to Write an Effective Resume, Interviewing Skills and Negotiating
a Job Offer.

Thank you to everyone that attended our Annual Job Fair & Career Expo on April 10, 2008. We were very
pleased to have 54 employers from all areas of industry participate this year and we had 309 job seekers
attend this event.
