The college bookstore, located in the Student Center, sells all of the required
and recommended textbooks, study guides, reference books and supplies for classes
offered by the college. The bookstore also sells cap and gown sets for commencement
and a variety of Wor-Wic insignia items, such as clothing and mugs.
Wor-Wic is aware of the high cost of college textbooks. Faculty members try to select
reasonably-priced textbooks that provide currency, relevance and the most effective
presentation of course content. Students who buy textbooks can find specific ordering
information, such as the author, title and ISBN number, on the
bookstore website
three weeks prior to each semester/session. The information is as accurate as possible,
but students should be cautioned that it is possible that ISBN numbers or editions
can change. Students are encouraged to purchase textbooks from the college bookstore,
but they can purchase used or new textbooks from other bookstores or online vendors.
The bookstore buys back used books from students who want to sell them. The best
time to sell textbooks is the final examination period in each semester/ session.
