Orientations

Computer lab orientation sessions are available by request. Please contact the Computer Lab Coordinator for details.

Use Policy

The Computer Lab is available to all registered students. All equipment is to be used for the purpose of completing academic assignments or official college business only.

Rules

The Computer Lab does not allow food, drinks, children, cellular phones or loud talking. Following these rules helps to ensure a quiet atmosphere conducive to testing and study.

Procedures

Select a computer and log onto the network using your Wor-Wic username and password. Lab personnel may be able to help retrieve usernames and/or change your passwords if needed. Print jobs will go to one of the printers behind the resource counter. Lab personnel will collect printouts from the printers and place them on the tables at either end of the counter for pick up. Only lab personnel are allowed behind the resource counter. If you need help at any time, raise your hand or go to the resource counter.

Reserved Computers

Please respect any reserved signs as some stations are set aside for specific purposes, class use, testing, or other activities.

Computer Lab Staff

A team of instructors and student assistants is available during lab hours to help with questions or problems. To receive assistance while working on a computer, raise your hand and a staff member will respond as soon as possible.
