Law enforcement class graduates

Twenty law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Kent, Harford, Calvert and Washington counties graduated in the 83rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall at the college campus, featured a commencement address by Col. G. Adrian Baker, superintendent of the Maryland Natural Resources Police.

John C. Moses, director of criminal justice at Wor-Wic, and Donald L. Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, presided at the ceremony. Awards of certification and excellence were presented by Moses. Deputy Ryan M. Price of the Kent County Sheriff’s Office was the class speaker.

In addition to Price, graduates included Andy S. Plummer and Dillon C. Swanger of the Fruitland Police Department, Elijah M. Bethel and Aaron M. Handy of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley A. Dryden, Devin M. Fairman, Clint M. Greenlee, Christopher D. Sipple and Tyler C. Strawser of the Salisbury Police Department, Patrick J. McElfish and Nathan R. Thompson of the Ocean City Police Department, Colin H. Morris and Joshua P. O’Ferrall of the Ocean Pines Police Department, James G. Wood of the Pocomoke City Police Department, Tyler C. Manchin of the Crisfield Police Department, Adam A. Parks of the Princess Anne Police Department, and Justin R. Beckley, Scott A. Garren and Nicholas A. Letts of the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
