EGR 101 Introduction to Engineering Design

This course provides an overview and application of the basic tools and techniques of engineering design, including computer-aided design (CAD), data collection and analysis, engineering reports, spreadsheets and the use of software tools. Hours: 26 lecture and 26 laboratory. Prerequisite: MTH 121 with a grade of "C" or better or an acceptable mathematics placement test score. Usually offered in the fall in even-numbered years. (3.0 Credits)
