Seniors Only
It can be intimidating to take a course with younger students who are technology-oriented, so Wor-Wic offers several seniors-only technology courses where you can learn with other seniors at a slower pace and with a little more help.
 

Take classes tuition free!

Maryland seniors who are 60 years old or older at the time of registration can attend Wor-Wic tuition free (fees still apply). Free tuition is not limited to seniors-only classes.

Uncrewed Aircraft Systems

Free Computer Training for Unemployed
If you are unemployed and need to update your computer skills, take advantage of these self-paced computer courses:

Visit the computer training lab at the Lower Shore American Job Center, located at 31901 Tri-County Way (off Walston Switch Rd. on the north side of Rt. 50).

Lab Hours:
Monday and Wednesday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 to 4:30 pm
Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 4:30 pm

In order to participate, individuals must go to the Lower Shore American Job Center to obtain a referral from an agency. For information about how to obtain a referral or hours of operation, call the Lower Shore American Job Center at 410-341-6515.

These courses are fully supported by a $50,000 grant provided by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
