If you need a license or certification to enter the workforce, or continuing education to maintain your license, we have the courses you need. Many of our courses qualify for financial assistance, and some are even free!

Emergency Training

Wor-Wic is an authorized training center for the American Heart Association. Learn life-saving skills in courses such as "Basic Life Support," "Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens," "Heartsaver First Aid" and "Heartsaver CPR AED."

Medical Coding & Billing

Medical coding and billing courses provide instruction in coding medical claims and how to meet the requirements for medical records documentation. We offer "Procedural (CPT) Coding" and "Diagnostic (ICD-10) Coding" courses that can prepare you for an entry-level position in a health care setting.

Medical Office

There is a specialized language used by people who work in health care, and medical terminology is essential for any career in this field. No medical background is needed to take our online courses in medical terminology.

Medicine Aide

If you're currently working as a certified or geriatric nursing assistant, you could be interested in our medicine aide coursed to learn how to administer medications in a long-term care facility. If you just need a refresher for recertification, we provide a "Medicine Aide Recertification" course that meets the requirements of the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Nurse Refresher

Are you an inactive RN or LPN planning to return to the workforce? Take our "Nurse Refresher Clinical Practicum" course approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The course includes an online theory component, as well as a 60-hour clinical rotation.

Personal Fitness Trainer

Start your exciting fitness career by becoming a personal trainer. Our "Personal Trainer National Certification" course can help you earn your certification. This course offers an additional 30-hour employer internship that could lead to a more advanced credential at no additional cost.

Phlebotomy Technician
