Culinary Skills

Free Culinary Training

Through FoodWorks, a partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, participants prepare for success in any professional food service setting. Includes 12 weeks of intensive training combined with social services support, career development and job placement assistance. Learn an array of cooking skills including knife cuts, recipe conversions, food safety standards and commercial kitchen equipment use and sanitation.

Candidates for this training series must complete an application, attend an information session and participate in a prospective student interview.
