Wastewater treatment technicians work in a highly-specialized environment, ensuring that wastewater treatment equipment runs in an effective manner. In cooperation with the College of Southern Maryland, several Maryland Center for Environmental Training (MCET) courses are offered, including "Safe Drinking Water -- Federal Regulations," "Biological Components of Wastewater," "Chlorination Technology" and "Screening Water and Wastewater for Safety, Security and Toxicity."
