Wor-Wic Community College has earned validation by the National Security Agency (NSA) for the cybersecurity concentration of its computer technology associate of applied science degree.
“Your ability to meet the increasing demands of the program validation will serve the nation well in contributing to the protection of the national information infrastructure,” said Renae Weathers, program manager of the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense program of the NSA.
The NSA program of study validation confirms that Wor-Wic’s program meets rigorous national standards and reflects the high quality of cybersecurity education at the college. The validation also allows Wor-Wic to pursue the next phase of recognition: designation as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense.
