Jail and correctional officers graduate

Twenty-two jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot and Caroline counties graduated in the 106th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Charles Scott, warden of the Caroline County Department of Corrections.

John C. Moses, director of criminal justice at Wor-Wic, and Rob Dell’Erba, ESCJA coordinator, presided at the ceremony. Ivie N. Foster of ECI was the class speaker.

In addition to Foster, graduates included Lindsie B. Barrall, Justin R. Cox, Tehajha S. Jefferson, Jamie L. Milliner and DèAntre M. Minns from the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Norman Edwards III, Kaelan R. Patterson and Joseph H. Sinclair of the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center, Toshiba N. Dickerson, Serita N. Floyd, Brent L. Frisby, Gretchen W. Fritz, Jennifer A. Kendorski and Maurice Paulina Jr. of ECI, Patrick H. Barnes and Darren L. Howard of the Dorchester County Department of Corrections, Derrick G. Brummell Jr., Miguel Sanchez-Collins and Amanda J. Tondin of the Talbot County Department of Corrections and Jennifer L. Baynard and Charles W. Webb Jr. of the Caroline County Department of Corrections.
