Ocean Resorts to host holiday market
The Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin will hold its Holly Jolly Holiday Vendor Market on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 2-5 p.m. The event will feature area artisans selling handmade goods and gifts for those who want to shop local for the holidays.

Jail and correctional officers graduate
Thirty-three jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester and Talbot counties graduated in the 117th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Wor-Wic earns military spouse friendly designation
For the sixth year in a row, Wor-Wic Community College was named a Military Spouse Friendly School by VIQTORY, a veteran-owned company whose mission is to assist military personnel transitioning to a civilian life. Earlier this year, Wor-Wic also received a top 10 recognition as an overall Military Friendly School.

Wor-Wic Community College will hold a family-friendly trick-or-treat event from 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. Treat Street will be held rain or shine; bring the whole family.
