Long joins Wor-Wic

Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Julie C. Long of Ocean City as an assistant professor of nursing.

Driver education classes begin Feb. 28

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is now offering driver education classes at Crisfield Academy and High School. The classes will be held Monday through Friday, from Feb. 28 through March 13 from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m.

Dual enrollment information night

A free dual enrollment information session for parents of current high school sophomores and juniors will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury. High school sophomores and juniors are also invited to attend.

Promise scholarship information night

An information session for anyone interested in the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Rt. 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Law enforcement class graduates

Twenty-five law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot, Queen Anne’s and Garrett counties graduated in the 81st entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Marketing plan course to be held Jan. 25

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a course for small business owners called “Creating a Marketing Plan for Current and Future Success.”
