Wor-Wic students inducted into PTK

Nineteen Wor-Wic Community College students participated in an induction ceremony for the Alpha Nu Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Child care symposium to be held April 14

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a symposium for child care providers interested in learning more about technology, health, safety and nutrition.

The public is invited to attend a free job fair being offered by the career services office at Wor-Wic Community College on Thursday, April 5, from 2:30 to 6 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall and the Allied Health Building at the college campus in Salisbury.

Poet’s talk and reading to be held April 6

In celebration of national poetry month, poet Jane Satterfield will give a book talk on Friday, April 6, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Satterfield’s poetry reading at 7 p.m., in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
