Motorcycle safety course begins Sept. 8

A motorcycle safety basic rider course is being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College in cooperation with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Free carpentry training course begins Sept. 7

The continuing education and workforce development division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a free carpentry training course called “Basic Construction Techniques I” on Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m., beginning Sept. 7 and ending Dec. 7, at Parkside High School.
