A free Computer Studies Information Night for anyone interested in a career in computer studies will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Twin Poets reading on Nov. 10
The Twin Poets, Nnamdi Chukwuocha and Albert Mills, the current poets laureate of Delaware, will present a free reading in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m.
Wor-Wic main entrance closure
Anyone planning to visit Wor-Wic Community College on Wednesday, Aug. 31, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., will need to use Longridge Road to access alternative entrance/exit roadways to the campus via Horsebridge Drive or Shortridge Drive.

5K Run/Walk for Wor-Wic to be held Sept. 24
The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk, along with the 2016 Law Enforcement Team Cup Challenge, on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 9 a.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. Check in and registration begin at 8 a.m.

A total of 551 Wor-Wic Community College students have been recognized for superior performance by being named to the dean’s list for the recently-completed spring semester.
SAT prep course offered
The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering an SAT Prep course for students interested in preparing for the redesigned evidence-based reading, writing and math SAT.
