Wor-Wic graduates listed

The following students completed their program requirements to graduate with a certificate of proficiency (CT), associate of applied science (AAS), associate of arts in teaching (AAT), associate of science (AS) or associate of arts (AA) degree from Wor-Wic Community College this past fall and spring.

Wor-Wic offers express registration

Wor-Wic Community College is offering “Smart Start Express Registration” for new students to complete the fall credit registration process in one campus visit. Students can choose Wednesday, Aug. 10, Thursday, Aug. 18, or Thursday, Aug. 25, beginning at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. “Smart Start Express Registration” will also be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 9 a.m.

Law enforcement class graduates

Twenty-five law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester, Talbot, Queen Anne’s and Kent counties graduated in the 76th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Adult basic education graduates

Wor-Wic Community College recently held a graduation ceremony at the college for area residents who earned their high school diplomas through the adult education services offered by the college.

Enroll now for credit classes at Wor-Wic

Wor-Wic Community College is currently accepting registrations for credit classes that are being offered this summer and fall. The next session of summer classes begins July 5 and fall classes begin Sept. 7.

Wor-Wic holds 15th annual golf tournament

Wor-Wic Community College recently held its 15th annual golf tournament at the college’s Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin. Proceeds from the tournament totaling more than $30,000 will be used to benefit the college’s on-campus child development center.
