Documentary screening on Feb. 5

In celebration of African-American history month, Margaret Ingersoll, a trustee with the Nanticoke Historic Preservation Alliance, will present a documentary titled “Voices of Indiantown,” on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m., in Room 101 of Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Not too late to register at Wor-Wic

The student services office at Wor-Wic Community College is still accepting spring credit registrations. In addition to the regular 14-week spring semester that begins Jan. 16, Wor-Wic offers one three-week session, one seven-week session and a 10-week session that also begin Jan. 16, as well as a seven-week session that begins March 6.

Wor-Wic offers express registration

Wor-Wic Community College is offering “Smart Start Express Registration,” two extended days of spring credit registration services on Monday, Jan. 12, and Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road.

Law enforcement class graduates

Fourteen law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester and Talbot counties graduated in the 73rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Jan. 9 is ACT deadline

Area residents have until Friday, Jan. 9, to register for the American College Testing (ACT) examination, which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 a.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Free computer information session to be held Jan. 8

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a free computer information session on Thursday, Jan. 8, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., in Room 103C of Fulton-Owen Hall at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Driver education classes begin Jan. 5

The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering new driver education classes Monday through Friday, Jan. 5 through 16, from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m., or Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 6 through Feb. 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
