Registration has begun for Summer Scholars at Wor-Wic Community College. For the best selection of classes, parents of gifted and talented children entering third through ninth grade should register prior to June 1.

Poetry Workshop and Reading to be Held April 12
In celebration of national poetry month, the public is invited to attend a free “Poetry Alive!” creative writing workshop and separate poetry reading with poet Katie Umans on Friday, April 12, in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
NASA Balloon Presentation to be Held April 4 at Wor-Wic
Deborah Fairbrother, chief of the NASA Balloon Program Office (BPO) at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Wallops, Va., will give a free presentation about balloon technology and development on Thursday, April 4, at 7 p.m., in Room 101 of Guerrieri Hall, at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Wor-Wic Community College recently received an “Environmental Excellence Award” from Cenergistic (formerly Energy Education) in recognition of the success of the college’s energy-saving program and for outstanding environmental and financial resource stewardship.
