Law Enforcement Class Graduates
Twenty-two law enforcement officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Dorchester, Talbot, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Allegany counties graduated in the 69th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College at the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Jail and Correctional Officers Graduate
Thirty-two jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset and Caroline counties graduated in the 86th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
Register Now for Spring Classes at Wor-Wic
Wor-Wic Community College is still accepting registrations for credit classes that are being offered during the spring term, which begins on Jan. 11. Registration continues through Jan. 10, but area residents are encouraged to register early for the best selection.

Contractor’s College Series Begins Jan. 24
A series of construction-related courses called “The Contractor’s College” is being offered on Thursdays, Jan. 24 through March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wor-Wic Community College on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
New Windows 8 Course Begins Jan. 22
Learn how to create, rearrange and resize tiles, pin and unpin apps, and use the charms bar in the Microsoft Windows 8 operating system, by taking “Windows 8: Getting Started.”
Chocolate Cooking Course Begins Jan. 24
Learn about chocolate tempering, varieties of chocolate and creating edible creations like chocolate truffles by taking “For the Love of Chocolate.”
Computer Information Session to be Held Jan. 9
The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a free computer information session on Wednesday, Jan. 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in Room 103C of the Workforce Development Center at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Jan. 11 is ACT Deadline
Area residents have until Friday, Jan. 11, to register for the American College Testing (ACT) examination, which is being offered by Wor-Wic Community College on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 a.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
