The privacy statement covers Wor-Wic websites only. Information collected through this website is used strictly for college business purposes.

Collection of Non-Personal Information

Wor-Wic’s website may gather and store the following information about your website visit. This information can include your:

This information is stored and used aggregate only, and is not intended to contact you personally.  The information collected is used to improve Wor-Wic’s websites and services.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that may be provided during the admissions, registration, gifting, or employment processes is used solely for those purposes and is restricted and protected in accordance with college policy and procedure, and all Federal and State laws and regulations.

Wor-Wic limits employee access to personal information collected through its website to only those employees who need access in order to fulfill official duties.  Wor-Wic does not sell or share non-public personally identifiable information with a third party, unless necessary to complete a transaction in the ordinary course of business, or as required by State or Federal law or regulations such as the Maryland Access to Public Records Act (Public Records Act) or the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Wor-Wic may, from time-to-time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (email, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, Wor-Wic may share data with trusted partners to help us perform technical support, statistical analysis, electronic or postal mailings, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Wor-Wic, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Wor-Wic CC does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

Wor-Wic will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Wor-Wic or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Wor-Wic; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Wor-Wic, or the public.
