Interested in becoming part of a health care team? You can earn your certification at Wor-Wic as both a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and a geriatric nursing assistant (GNA).
CNAs play a key role in the delivery of daily patient care. They feed and bathe patients, take vital signs, create reports for nurses and doctors and much more. Training to become a CNA is a combination of learning basic nursing principles combined with hands-on clinical training.
There are several requirements for those interested in registering for CNA courses, including a drug screen, medical clearance, placement testing, background check and attending an information session.
