The business and hospitality pathway at Wor-Wic Community College has many options for students interested in entering or advancing their careers in the fields of accounting, business, hospitality, human resources, real estate and a variety of other areas.

There are both short-term opportunities to begin work quickly, and long-term certificate and degree options which take several semesters to complete. While the primary focus of the programs in the pathway is career training, some of the majors also transfer to four-year institutions for further study.

My major is Hotel/Motel/Restaurant Management. I chose this program because I am highly interested in the catering side of event planning. I have a great love for food and people which has stemmed from living in Ocean City along with various other places.

Getting Involved

Students in this pathway have many opportunities to be involved in campus life outside of their academic work, including Eta Sigma Delta, Wor-Wic's chapter of the International Hospitality Management Honor Society, and the Pineapple Club, which was created to promote the professional and personal development of hospitalilty management students.
