The Center for Cybersecurity serves as the institutional hub for cybersecurity education, training and workforce development on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Our Center for Cybersecurity serves as a community resource for cybersecurity education, awareness and workforce development. The Center works with students, employers, schools, government agencies and community organizations to address the growing need for cybersecurity knowledge and skilled professionals. Through education, outreach, hands-on learning and partnerships, the Center helps individuals and organizations better understand and respond to cybersecurity threats while strengthening the security and resilience of the communities we serve.

Degree & Certificate Programs

This program equips students with the practical skills and technical knowledge required to install, configure and secure computer networks while providing user support. Students learn to design and implement robust network infrastructures with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and information security principles.

An officially validated program of study that has been reviewed and recognized as meeting the rigorous academic, curricular, assessment and continuous improvement standards established by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) program.

This program focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to install, configure and secure computer networks, and support users on those networks. Students learn how to design and implement computer networks, taking into account issues of cybersecurity and information security.
