Wor-Wic Community College is offering “Smart Start Express Registration” on Monday, Jan. 7, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

Jail and correctional officers graduate

Thirty-nine jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Talbot and Queen Anne’s counties graduated in the 103rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Heller fund benefits from event proceeds

Family and friends of the late Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputy 1st Class Brian K. Heller recently presented a check for $13,659.00 for the endowed scholarship in his name, which benefits Wor-Wic Community College criminal justice students from Worcester, Wicomico or Somerset County.

Grants to boost student success

Wor-Wic Community College received a nearly $2 million Title III grant focusing on the implementation of a new advising model, increased online offerings and enhanced technological support for faculty.

Register now for spring classes

Wor-Wic Community College is currently accepting registrations for credit classes that are being offered during the spring term, which begins on Friday, Jan. 11. Early registration is encouraged for the best selection of classes. The payment deadline is Thursday, Dec. 13.
