Our computer studies program gives you a basic foundation in computer science with hands on skills in IT. Whether you aim to enter fields like cybersecurity, software development, game design, network administration or web development, our programs provide the skills needed for a successful computing career.
You can earn a degree in network support technology or web development in only two years. After that, you can go to a four-year college to get a bachelor’s degree in game development, computer science, cybersecurity or information systems. We are proud to have a Center for Cybersecurity here, which serves as the hub for education, training and workforce development on the Eastern Shore.
Want to improve your skills without getting a full degree? Our certificate programs in information security, desktop support and web development are great for both experienced workers and beginners who want to grow or update their tech skills.
The Cyber Workforce Accelerator (CWA)™ program is expanding Maryland’s cybersecurity talent pipeline by partnering with the state’s community colleges and providing job seekers with hands-on training and meaningful job opportunities.
You can earn the SOC Operations Analyst I Certification. This is a special certificate that the State of Maryland recognizes, and it will help you get an entry level cybersecurity job.
