Plumbing

Each year we offer "Introduction to Plumbing," a course designed to teach the basics of plumbing. This course will help you decide whether to join the plumbing apprenticeship program.

We’ve partnered with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) – Chesapeake Shores to offer a plumbing apprenticeship program. During the day, apprentices work for local plumbing companies and earn while they learn via on-the-job training. In the evening, apprentices are in class. After passing the class, an apprentice can take the journeyman license exam from the Maryland Department of Labor. To participate in these courses, apprentices must be employed by a partnered company and have permission from their supervisor.

For more information, contact Dr. Rhonda W. Banks at rbanks@worwic.edu or 410-334-2867.
